"Sharing Colors"
NGO short film for 5 Skoler
Our NGO short film, "Sharing Colors" depicts a young Syrian refugee who is filled with warmth when she gets the opportunity to go to school for the first time with her peers.

About the NGO
5 Skoler was founded in 2019 with a burning desire to change the conditions for Syrian children stranded indefinitely in no man’s land, where childhood does not belong.
Our university reached out to 5 Skoler to create short films to showcase their cause and highlight the positive change their foundation has made on these children in crisis.
Our team, made up of eight talented CG artists and animators, created the short film "Sharing Colors" from the pitch of a story idea, through the technical and artistic work of production, to a finalized published short film.

Director | CG Generalist
My primary responsibilities as director were to facilitate the technical scope with the Technical Art Director while aligning with our artistic ambitions and abilities with the client's requests. I served as a storyboard artist, supervised and edited the previsualization, and coordinated all leads throughout pre-production, production, and post-production. As a CG generalist, my focus was on translating the art direction concept into 3D assets while adhering to the pipeline procedures developed by our Technical Art Director and Project Manager.
This project with 5 Skoler presented numerous new challenges for us as CG artists but ultimately taught us how to be mindful of technical limitations, such as optimizing polygon count and mesh flow, rigging and skinning, texturing and shading, and compositing, without compromising our stylistic and artistic goals. We are proud to represent a part of 5 Skoler's cause and delighted to have our work showcased on their social media
